New Camp Jam Locations in 2007, Including First Ever Camp in Birmingham

As you know already our rock and roll summer day camp programs Camp Jam and Camp Jam Kidz will both be offered for the first time ever in Los Angeles, Irvine, Calif., Denver and Phoenix. These are all great music cities and we can't wait to get plugged in this summer and meet all of our new Camp Jammers. The exact locations and session dates for these four new camps are now listed off the CampJam.com homepage.

NEW LOCATION ANNOUNCEMENT: We're also pleased to announce that Camp Jam will offer for the first time ever a one week session this summer in Birmingham, Alabama at Shades Valley High School. The dates for this session are June 25 - 29, 2007 and registration is now open.

New this Year! Skill-Based Instruction Groups

Every summer we look for new ways to amp up the Camp Jam rock 'n' roll experience to ensure the best possible experience for all our campers. And this year we are introducing skill-based instruction groups that will allow our campers to progress at their own pace and work their way up to the next level.

For each instrument, Camp Jam will offer separate instruction groups based on skill level. Camper who are interested in progressing to the next level will be able to do so by attending consecutive weeks at Camp Jam.

Denver Camp Jam Location Announced

Both of our rock music summer day camp programs Camp Jam and Camp Jam Kidz (ages 7-10) will be offered for the first time ever in Denver this summer and we're pleased to announce that sessions will be held at the Denver Academy. Located at 4400 E. Iliff Ave, the Denver Academy will host our first session on July 23-27 and the second session on July 30- Aug 3.

The Camp Jam Ready. Set. ROCK! Tour is coming to Chicago, Phoenix, and Atlanta March 16-18. Go hang out with the guys and get a free clinic, a chance to jam out with rock legends, and an opportunity to take home a $100 music store gift card in the Rock Solo Contest.

Ryan Camissa Wins 99x Contest to Play on Stage With 30 Seconds to Mars

Our own Jeff Carlisi was on hand bright and early this morning at the 99x studios in Atlanta, GA to judge the "I'm In The Band" contest. Listeners of the radio station were given the chance to win a spot on stage with 30 Seconds to Mars (featuring actor Jared Leto) to play the song, "From Yesterday". Finalists were qualified over the phone and were then narrowed down in the studio by the panel of judges, which included Jeff, and then cut down to the final five. The final five played on air and Ryan Camissa was announced as the winner. He will be on stage with 30 Seconds to Mars tomorrow night, March 13th, at the Arena at Gwinnett Center for the Taste of Chaos Tour, where they will be playing with The Used, Senses Fail, Saosin, Chiodos, and Aiden.
