Camp Jam Alum Has Video In MTV U Contest: Needs Your Votes!!!!!

Camp Jam alum Donovan Babb needs your help.

His band, The Winter Sounds, has a music video for "Windy City Nights" on MTVU's "The Freshman." People can go to the site and vote for their favorite song in the contest and the winning band will be permanently put into rotation on MTV with their video showing 30 times a week.

Here is what Donovan had to say:

"YOU CAN VOTE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT! PLEASE VOTE MANY MANY TIMES!!"

Friday Night Concert Video: Camp Jam Band "Wild X" Takes The Stage

The Camp Jam Atlanta band Wild X got on stage for a Friday Night Concert after a week of practicing together at the rock music camp and blew the doors out of the theater with their rendition of "Killing in the Name Of" by Rage Against the Machine.

Ok, so it looks like October 2 is officially the release date for the veterans of the business. Some of these names have been on "new release" lists for decades. So, if you want a flashback to a better time, here are today's releases according to Metacritic.com:
